Liverpool FC get off to a winning start with Fisher AV

Liverpool FC got their Europa League campaign off to a winning start with a 1-0 victory over Unirea at Anfield this week, and Fisher Audio Visual were on hand as usual to provide their services for the press conferences. Our technicians supplied the PA system and microphones to enable the journalists to hear clearly, and supplied a press feed to TV and radio stations in both home and away team press conferences.

Fisher AV have worked closely with Liverpool FC for a number of years, providing audio visual support to conferences and events held at the stadium and training ground.

Panasonic unveils the 103-inch plasma available at Fisher’s in November…

The 42inch, 50inch and the 65inch plasmas are coming down in price, but if you want to go

big, and I mean really big, you still have to pay a high price.  Next month we will be hiring out

the Panasonic 103 inch plasma. This is the industry’s first 103-inch, full-HD, 1080p plasma.

As for the £19,000 price tag, all we can say is… HIRE IT!

What we were up to in July….

An Annual Foundation Trust Conference, 8th-10th July 2009 Hilton Hotel

We supplied the AV facilities for the Annual Foundation Conference. Over 500 delegates attended the annual 3 day conference with a series of professional presentations before the delegates moved on for dinner. Using the following audio visual equipment: staging, keypads, plasma screens, sound and lighting we captivated the 500 strong audience. We built a stage set and used the latest LED lighting for the event.

‘The Masquerade Ball’ - 11th July 2009 Capesthorne Hall, Macclesfiled

A stunning evening of beautiful masks and lively entertainment was held at the Capesthorne hall. Radio Presenter Mike Toolan from Key 103 was the compere for the evening and this got the night off to a fantastic start!

FISHER’S provided all the audio and sound for the event. We set up an outdoor PA system for the firework display with a live camera linked- up to all the ‘masked guests’ inside the marquee. The evening’s entertainment kicked off to a great start with ‘incognito’ and the charity auction. We supplied all the sound and microphones, and four great 65 inch plasmas screens. The auction was without doubt heard and seen by all and a staggering £30,000 was raised!

The Clients words: ‘what a great job your guys did… providing the music for the fireworks (by Dragonfire) - the 20min show was set to music “Night at the Movies” and was at perfect volume in the grounds. Also, due to the fact that it was absolutely chucking it down, your guys set up a covered camera outside (getting drenched themselves!) so that people remaining in the marquee could enjoy the fireworks too - it worked really well!’ 

The Golf Open Championship, 16th - 19th July Turnberry, Scotland

Steward Cink wins the 138th Open Championship

The Open Golf Championship is the most prestigious, important and sought-after golf championship in the world. FISHER’S was honoured to be appointed as the approved UK AV supplier for the corporate hospitality. We installed the vision and audio visual equipment which enabled all the crowds to watch the live footage.

PA Systems Rental and a Rumble at the Reebok

On 31 May 2009 the World Title Muay Thai Championship came to Reebok. The stage was set.

Two ten foot high fastfold projector screens broadcast contender interviews and live fight action and a state-of-the-art PA system blasted out the commentary for the 1,500 strong audience. The arrival of the first contenders on the runways signaled the start of an explosive and action filled night.

Fisher AV was delighted to provide the equipment for one of the highlights of the boxing calendar. With years of industry experience and a proven track record, we are well placed to provide the creative and technical support for large scale events.

  • 2 x Sanyo XP100 6,500 Ansi Lumen Projectors - These are high output projectors used to project onto 2 x 14 by 10 foot Fastfold Projector Screens.
  • Spotlights to highlight the show
  • 8 x par 64 Parcan bars and 8 x Martin Mac 250 all operated by a pearl lighting desk
  • 2 runways (catwalks) for the boxers to enter the stage
  • Gobos - lighting effects to project key sponsor logos around the room.
