HD LCD Hire Manchester

We have just added the Vivitek D952HD projector to our LCD hire range. This model offers full 1080p resolution together with 3500 lumens brightness.

The projector features 2 HDMI inputs so that you can have, for example, a laptop and blu ray DVD player connected at the same time. You can then switch between the 2 via the supplied remote control.

Due to increased demand for LED Lighting, we have recently added these new LEDJ Q Colour lights to our hire stock. These lights add amazing washes of colour to sets and stages.

Each individual LED incorporates a blue, green, red and white chip behind a single lens. Virtually any colour/ hue imaginable can be created and the colours can be faded and their intensity adjusted.

These units can create customised light shows and can also run in automatic mode where no external controller is required, such as Sound Active mode where the lights change to music. Additionally, multiple units can be linked together.

This Panasonic Digital DVD Recorder allows you to record programmes directly on to DVD discs whilst allowing you to watch VHS video tapes that are still in your collection.

When recording a TV programme, the unit determines where new scenes begin (by “listening” to the voices in the programme) and automatically inserts chapter marks at those places. This makes it easy to skip over adverts and start playback from a particular point.
SD format data is up-converted to 1080 x 1920 HD format video format. This conversion to HD format increases the richness of the original data by approximately six-fold and produces the highest possible image quality when viewing content on a large-screen HDTV.
Enjoy watching memorable photos (JPEG 1080 x 1920 pixels) recorded on to various medias (CD-R/-RW, DVD-R/-RW, USB) in a slideshow with your favourite music playing in the background.

The National Eisteddfod 2011 – Plasma Hire

Fisher AV was once again called upon to provide plasma hire and Blu Ray players at various locations on site for the week long festival event.

The National Eisteddfod of Wales takes place during the first week of August and attracts over 160000 visitors every year with its mixture of culture, visual arts and music.

Our new stock of 42″ and 50″ Panasonic and Samsung full HD plasmas went out on their first hire on the event. To complement them, we used Unicol Parabella Stands which are the ideal display solution for any plasma or large LCD display.

Short Throw Lens projectors are becoming increasingly popular for use in exhibitions and conferences where throw distance is limited (i.e. where there is only a small distance between projector and screen).

Therefore, we have recently added Optoma EW605ST WXGA Short Throw Projectors to our range of hire products. The 3100 ANSI Lumens projectors are HD and 3D ready and have a lens ratio of 0.52:1.

Not many of our customers will know that our history in AV Hire Liverpool dates back to 1955 when Montague Fisher MPS opened up his second photographic shop in Liverpool – his first was in Birkenhead which opened in 1948 and his third shop opened up in Chester in 1964.

It was in 1963, when the business expanded its Audio Visual hire and rental operation by opening a separate division in Birkenhead, that the hire of AV really took hold in Merseyside.
